I agree with Kev about this. That's always so hard, to get a good exposure on the sky and on the ground, especially with shadows from tree cover. City shots can be hard that way too. ANYway, great composition on this as everyone said, and the colors just pulls it all together.
Very surreal. It's a difficult exposure because of the bright sky and dark foreground. One trick that I'm dying to try on shots like this is to lengthen the exposure to 2 seconds or so using neutral density filters, then waving a black card over the lens to hold back exposure of only the sky portion. This way, you get more detail in the ground and more moderated exposure in the sky. Anyway, I like how yours turned out. It's got great mood.
