It never happens, there is no such photographer on DA, each work of whose would be worth being a DD. No, wait, there is! Each work by nighty will amaze. And this one will also make you sit and think and figure out how the hell is this possible. Please, enjoy Pierced by nighty

it's a photograph because you put it in that category, and, that just adds more to the mystery of it all - absolutely amazing howyou achieved this. beautiful.

After staring at this for a while... I think it's the bristles on a brush, which would make sense, but the bristle are set too far apart. (Darn, I thought I almost had it! ) Well whether I know what this is or not, it's certainly intriguing and well done. Congrats on the DD! :D (Big Grin)

w00t.... I guess they are ceramic balls (like those on rollerblades - but the ones on rollerblades are metallic...anyway...) on a glass table, and he shot it bottom-to-top....but itīs lovely nonetheless... I guess the composition (wait...) is the low-point of it...

since two balls are different-colored from the rest, they couldīve been distributed in a different way to generate a greater impact...a balance that this pic lacks (not much, but itīs not entirely there)

uhhhh after staring at this for 15 minutes all i can say is that this is the craziest photo ive ever seen...the ONLY thing i could think of to make this better is the arrangement of the pins but that has absolutely nothing to do with how awesome this is...

I would venture to say the pins were in some frozen block of ice or maybe some plastic wrap stretched over a surface with the pins poking through. Am I close? Nice photo too. Not one of your best though.

wow, i thought 3D rendering initially as well,...it's so
smooth and perfect.
i love your incredible diversity with regards to perspectives,...
how you see so much in so little,...
i bet when you were a kid you'd lay on your stomach in the
grass and sit and stare into it,...watching all the complexities
of that world that only kids can see because they're
literally closer to it,...and then we grow up,...grow away,...
literally, figuratively,...

ok,...i'm under the weather and i'm on cold medicine. ok?!

i still meant what i said.

Oddly surreal and abstract.
I'm not sure if I like the overall placement of the pins, but if you were going for a random look it is successful.

Brings golfballs to my mind.......or neadles in water. Great triangular composition.
Nice soft tones.

I think its good of you to leave some to ones imagination...makes it alot more interessting.
Everything lies in the eye of the beholder you know....haha.

Looks interesting, I just wonder what that thing is? Something transparnent and reflective apparently.. Anyway I think this could be more interesting if there were something in the background also, now there's just blurriness :-) (Smile) Although I like it anyway Aww

i cant tell if its an acutal picture or a 3-d rendering. either way i like it. the greyish blue color is great against the white of the pins and the white border accents it nicely as well.

the negative space on the left side helps to complete the pic and the simple type ties in well with the whole composistion. nice job as always
